No – and that's intentional. Vtáčikovo is a place for a true digital detox. For the evenings we recommend a head torch or flashlight and a power bank to charge your phone. Cooking is done on a gas stove and heating comes from a wood-burning stove.

There's no Wi-Fi, and mobile signal is weak to non-existent. Many guests say in their reviews that this is the best part – finally, time just for yourselves.

Drinking water is provided in canisters. There's an outdoor shower and an eco-friendly dry toilet 15 metres from the treehouse. There's no hot running water, but you can heat water on the gas stove.

You can't drive all the way to the treehouse. Park for free on the street and your host will pick you up. On foot or by bike you can come straight here – the treehouse is right by the Kežmarok – lake cycle path. We'll send exact directions after booking.

Yes. There's a kitchenette with a gas stove, dishes, pots, a kettle and basic supplies (oil, salt, spices, coffee). Outside you'll find a charcoal grill, a fire pit and a table with seating.

Yes, Vtáčikovo is open all year round. The wood-burning stove keeps the treehouse warm, and there are extra blankets and pillows. A snowy winter forest is an experience in itself.

Yes, four-legged friends are very welcome. Please just let us know when you book.

The treehouse sleeps a maximum of 2 people (including children). The terrace is raised and not fully fenced, so small children need constant supervision.

Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. If you need a different time, just let us know – we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Yes. Cotton bed linen, towels, soap and toilet paper are all ready for you, along with extra pillows and blankets.

Choose your dates in the calendar and send a booking request. Your host will usually confirm within 24 hours and send you the payment details. While we process your request, the dates are held for you.

We'd be happy to prepare homemade pastries, homemade soda or hriatô for you. Just mention it in the note when you book.
