Step into an enchanting forest full of life. Vtáčikovo is a cosy wooden treehouse high in the branches, where you can enjoy true solitude in the middle of nature – far from the noise of the city.
Wake up to birdsong, spend the day swinging above the valley, grill over the campfire in the evening and fall asleep under a canopy bed to the crackle of the wood stove. Brew some tea or hand-ground coffee, play a board game, write a long-forgotten letter – or simply lie in the grass and gaze up into the treetops.
And to round it all off, taste our homemade treats, made with love: freshly baked pastries, homemade soda and, of course, hriatô (a traditional hot honey drink).

Wonderful cabin in the forest! 🌲 The place is absolutely private - no one around, just us and nature. The cabin was perfectly prepared: plenty of drinking water, a bottle of wine, and some gingerbread cookies waiting for us - such a thoughtful touch from the host. We also loved the swing and the barbecue area, which made spending time outdoors even more enjoyable. A perfect spot to relax and disconnect from everyday life. Highly recommended!
Great place for a small retreat. Really a highlight of our trip. Sebastian and his girlfriend were super friendly and helpful! And just a couple of days without connection was also much needed. :)

Check-in prebehol v poriadku. Pán hostiteľ bol milý a priateľský. Čo sa týka ubytovania tak sme s priateľkou boli spokojní, bolo tam pekne čisto a hlavne kľud,pokoj a súkromie. Ako plus sme brali aj to, že tam nebol signál. Určite vrelo odporúčam.
TranslateStráviť noc v korunách stromov bol vždy náš sen a vďaka Treehouse Vtáčikovo sa nám tento sen splnil. Útulný drevený domček je umiestnený v lone prírody s výhľadom na okolitý les. Strávili sme tu krásne chvíle, ničím nerušený pokoj a ticho ďaleko od ruchu mesta. Domček je veľmi čistý a nájdete v ňom všetko, čo potrebujete na pobyt v prírode. Sebastián je príjemný hostiteľ, komunikácia s ním bola rýchla, bezproblémová a maximálne nám vo všetkom vyšiel v ústrety. Ďakujeme veľmi pekne za krásny pobyt.
TranslateInsanely peaceful!! Wow. Waking up amongst the trees was lovely. It was a really nice place to unwind, we could've easily spent our entire week here. It's very thoughtfully decorated. Sebastian and his mom were friendly and kind, and very accommodating with the check-in after we missed a connecting flight.

FAQ
No – and that's intentional. Vtáčikovo is a place for a true digital detox. For the evenings we recommend a head torch or flashlight and a power bank to charge your phone. Cooking is done on a gas stove and heating comes from a wood-burning stove.
There's no Wi-Fi, and mobile signal is weak to non-existent. Many guests say in their reviews that this is the best part – finally, time just for yourselves.
Drinking water is provided in canisters. There's an outdoor shower and an eco-friendly dry toilet 15 metres from the treehouse. There's no hot running water, but you can heat water on the gas stove.
You can't drive all the way to the treehouse. Park for free on the street and your host will pick you up. On foot or by bike you can come straight here – the treehouse is right by the Kežmarok – lake cycle path. We'll send exact directions after booking.
Yes. There's a kitchenette with a gas stove, dishes, pots, a kettle and basic supplies (oil, salt, spices, coffee). Outside you'll find a charcoal grill, a fire pit and a table with seating.
